Location

The spectacular beaches and sand dunes of the Parque Natural start at approx 500m from Villa Melissa stretching for 14 kilometeres.  Rocky Point (one of the best surfing spots in The Canaries) is a five minute walk another five and you are in flag beach one of the 'hot spots for windsurfing and kite flying in Europe.  Carry on into Olivia Beach with its gorgeous dune and you have you day.  Some people come to Fuerteventura just to see this breathtaking Natural Park.

Cotillo (a fishing village with the most beautiful sunsets and best fish restaurants) is just 15 kilometeres away.  La Olivia 12 kilometeres away is also a must during your trip.  Puerto del Rosario, the capital city is 30 km away.

The Vila is 15 minutes away by Car from the Olivia Golf Development (due to open 2007/early 2008) the golf club at Caleta de Fuste (host of the 2004 Spanish Open on the PGA European Tour) is 35 mins away by car.
